Newport council sets review, priority session Saturday

The Newport Beach City Council will hold its annual planning workshop Saturday morning.

City staff will provide updates about the city’s finances, capital improvement projects and other projects underway or coming up.

The meeting will give the council an opportunity to assess projects and set priorities for the year.

The meeting, which is open to the public, will begin at 9 a.m. in the City Hall Community Room, 100 Civic Center Drive. It will run until about 1 p.m.
