Man held in sale of fake Disneyland tickets

A Costa Mesa man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of selling fake Disneyland tickets through Craigslist.

Authorities said Jonathan Olsen, 26, placed an ad on Craigslist offering two tickets for $160. A woman told police she met with Olsen at a restaurant, purchased the tickets and took a cellphone picture of his identification.

She subsequently discovered the tickets were invalid and reported the incident to the Costa Mesa Police Department.

Police arrested Olsen at his home, where they reportedly confiscated drug paraphernalia and additional invalid Disneyland tickets.

Police said Olsen told them he stole the inactivated tickets from a store.

The suspect was charged with petty theft and possession of drug paraphernalia and booked at Orange County Jail. No bail was set.
