Disney Channel star Zendaya visits Macy’s at South Coast Plaza

Macy’s South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa welcomed actress and singer Zendaya on Saturday at the department store’s juniors’ section, giving the first 100 guests the chance to have their picture taken with her.

Zendaya, 18, a Disney Channel star in the series “K.C. Undercover” and “Shake It Up,” was helping to celebrate Macy’s new Material Girl clothing collection.

The fashion line, created by Madonna, features Zendaya as the new face of the brand. Past Material Girl models have included Kelly Osborne, Rita Ora and Georgia May Jagger.

Pieces include printed dresses, crop tops, matching skirts, bomber jackets, platform pumps and sandals.
