The Environmental Nature Center hosted its 10th annual Spring Faire and Butterfly House opening Sunday, featuring food from local restaurants, a juried youth art exhibit and eco-friendly crafts.

Hawks and owls were on display from the OC Bird of Prey Center and OC Reptile Rescue exhibited a variety of reptiles and invertebrates. Francisco the Bug Guy brought tarantulas, stick bugs, scorpions and centipedes.

Face painters were on hand to paint butterflies and caterpillars on attendees’ faces and children were able to create crafts like tie-dyed butterflies, pinwheels and cocoon necklaces.
