Ethel Holton Doyle

Ethel Holton Doyle, longtime resident of Costa Mesa and Irvine, died peacefully at her home of natural causes on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at age 91. Mrs. Doyle was born February 1, 1921 in Bridgeton, North Carolina. She attended Louisburg College and worked as a personnel officer for the War Department during World War II. She is survived by her daughter, Ann Doyle Stephens of Newport Beach, son Edward J. Doyle, Jr. of Irvine, son Stephen C. Doyle (Andrea) of Venice and granddaughters Olivia and Allis. Graveside service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 1st at Pacific View Memorial Park in Corona del Mar.
