Billy Don Chandler

Chandler, Billy Don, was born December 20, 1939 in Texas and he passed away peacefully at his home in Costa Mesa, Ca. on September 20, 2011. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Sandra, 2 grand children, Nicole and Brian, a daughter TerriLynn, half sister, Cindy, a brother Gordon, the Valentine Family, and his puppies.
Don was a proud member of the Newport Harbor Benevolent Protective Order of Elk’s for 34 years. He held every officer position and was Exalted Ruler in 1981-1982 and 2000-2001. He was elected as a Life member in 2002. He could be found every Thursday at the lodge barbequing steaks on the back dock, as well as hamburgers on Saturdays. He will truly be missed.
A service will be held at the Newport Harbor Elk’s to celebrate his life with his family and friends.
