Kristin Davis expected in Costa Mesa

COSTA MESA — The Christian Louboutin boutique, home of the famed red-heeled pump, on Thursday will celebrate its two-year anniversary with a shopping party and appearance by “Sex and the City” star Kristin Davis at its South Coast Plaza store.

Davis is a fan of the French shoemaker. Besides avidly wearing the shoes on the HBO original series, Davis is also attending the event because 10% of the proceeds are going to benefit her charity of choice: the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.

Christian Louboutin will be giving shoppers a sneak peek of the spring line. The event will show off selected pairs from Christian Louboutin’s Resort 2011 Collection, which will be released in waves through December.
