Pumpkin patch primed for picking
Looking to get an early start on your Halloween jack-o’-lantern? Tanaka Farms in Irvine opened its Pumpkin Patch and Harvest Festival on Saturday with pumpkins and vegetables for picking, plus a corn maze, a petting zoo and wagon rides.
The festival is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily through Oct. 31.
Admission is $2 for visitors 3 and older, though wagon rides are free this weekend (rides usually cost $5).
