Corona del Mar debate set for Wednesday

The last Newport Beach City Council candidates’ forum will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday evening at the OASIS Senior Center.

The most hotly contested race is between Ed Reno, a pharmaceutical lobbyist, and Rush Hill, an architect and Newport Beach political insider. They are be vying for District 3, which represents the west side of Upper Newport Bay. In the other race, incumbent Leslie Daigle and Mark Tabbert, a businessman, are fighting for the District 4 seat, which represents the John Wayne Airport area, Santa Ana Heights and Eastbluff.
