Library hosts concert with harpist

The Newport Beach Public Library is hosting Harp for Little Hearts, an interactive family concert featuring harpist Charissa Barger from 11 a.m. to noon Sept. 22 in the Friends Room, 1000 Avocado Ave.

The program will let children check out a harp up close, see the techniques used to play it and ask questions.

The concert is free through support from the Friends of the Library. Seating is limited and based on a first-come, first-served basis. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
