Brian Niccol, the chief executive of fast-food chain Taco Bell Corp., has sold his home in Laguna Beach for $3.375 million.

Built in 1964, the two-story home behind gates in Emerald Bay features a wrap-around balcony and wide ocean views.

Remodeled interiors include a living room with a fireplace, an updated kitchen with marble countertops, four bedrooms and three bathrooms in 2,100 square feet. Walls of windows take in the surrounding coastline.

A half-mile private beach, a swimming pool, six tennis courts, three volleyball courts and a park are among the community amenities.

Niccol, who maintains a home in Newport Beach, put the house on the market in March for $2.495 million. He bought the house in 2013 for $2.575 million, records show.

Jim Kline of Surterre Properties was the listing agent, according to the Multiple Listing Service. Alison Eatman of Villa Real Estate represented the buyer.

Niccol, 41, joined Taco Bell in 2011 as its chief marketing and innovation officer and in January was named chief executive of the Irvine-based company. His favorite menu item is the Cheesy Gordita Crunch.
