Survey will examine Laguna’s senior housing needs
Surveys are being sent to 3,000 Laguna Beach residents ages 55 and older to assess the housing needs of the city’s seniors, according to a news release.
Associate city planner Belinda Deines said the surveys should have gone out Friday.
A city-appointed task force dedicated to identifying affordable housing options for seniors suggested paying Cal State Fullerton researchers $12,844 to conduct the 50-question survey, which should take about 15 minutes to complete.
People who are curious about the surveys can look at a hard copy at City Hall, at 505 Forest Ave., or the Laguna Beach Community & Susi Q Center, at 380 Third St.
