City seeking new housing committee members

Laguna Beach is accepting applications for two spots on the city’s Housing and Human Services Committee.

The terms of two members expire June 30.

The seven-member committee provides input to the City Council regarding affordable housing and housing opportunities for all segments of the community.

Committee members regularly review Laguna Beach’s Housing Element, which includes policies on preserving and expanding housing options, and assess services for seniors and disabled residents.

The positions are open to Laguna Beach residents. Applications must be submitted to the city clerk by 5 p.m. July 7. The council will interview all candidates at its July 21 meeting at 505 Forest Ave.
