Public invited to learn more about city departments

Laguna Beach will hold an open house May 16 to allow the public to ask questions of various department officials and meet City Council members.

A balloon artist and face painter will provide entertainment.

Employees from several departments will give demonstrations of their work, and local radio station KX 93.5 will hold a live broadcast.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at City Hall, 505 Forest Ave.
