Student ceramics displayed at coastal eddy

Coastal eddy a gallery, located on South Coast Highway, will display Laguna Beach High School students’ work beginning Saturday.

The show, titled, “LB — AP — Clay,” will feature creations from instructor Somer Selway’s Advanced Placement ceramics students Ariel Carlson, Liam Corrigan, Alexandra Eftimie, John Gerges, Nathan Meier, Julia Nasiell, Victoria Spencer and James Weir.

“I’m very grateful to coastal eddy for providing the opportunity to showcase the talents of the AP ceramics students at LBHS,” Selway said in the release. “I am hoping many community members will attend the show to demonstrate their continued support for art education.”

An artists reception will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the gallery, 1417 S. Coast Hwy. The show runs through May 9.

The gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays.
