Laguna welcomes Sister Cities Garden

The Laguna Beach Sister Cities Garden in Heisler Park was officially unveiled Wednesday afternoon.

Laguna Beach Mayor Bob Whalen and dignitaries from San Jose del Cabo, Mexico, St. Ives, England, and Menton, France, recognized work by Laguna Nursery owner Ruben Flores, the Laguna Beach Garden Club and the Laguna Beach Beautification Council.

The plot contains plants native to each city, including succulents, and a small replica of the Eiffel Tower.

The garden is near Jasmine Street and Cliff Drive.
