A Santa Ana resident was injured when the car he was driving veered off Laguna Canyon Road and rolled over Sunday morning, Laguna Beach police said.

The man, in his early 20s, was headed toward Laguna Beach at 7:04 a.m. when the Chevrolet sedan flipped just south of the 73 Freeway, Sgt. Tim Kleiser wrote in an email.

Police did not cite the man, who suffered a possible concussion.

Neither drugs nor alcohol appear to have played a part, and the case remains under investigation, Kleiser said.
