Alley near bank will close sporadically

An alley between Forest and Ocean avenues in Laguna Beach next to the Bank of America will close occasionally over the next five weeks beginning Tuesday, according to a news release.

Southern California Edison will replace a large underground vault near 299 Ocean Ave. that contains electrical equipment. The alley will be open outside of working hours.

Nearby businesses have been notified of the project.
