Nonprofit that places cats plans fundraiser

The Blue Bell Foundation for Cats is planning a fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 8 at Tivoli Too in Laguna Beach.

The nonprofit organization, which provides permanent housing for cats whose owners can no longer care for them, is raising money for its Community Cat fund, which underwrites costs of lifetime care for felines accepted from local animal shelters and sponsors cats in qualifying hardship cases.

Tickets for the champagne brunch cost $50 for adults and $15 for children 12 and younger. They can be purchased at bluebellcats.org or by sending a check made payable to The Blue Bell Foundation for Cats to 20982 Laguna Canyon Road, Laguna Beach, CA 92651.
