Applications available for community grants

Laguna Beach is accepting applications for its fiscal year 2015-16 community assistance grant program.

Each year, the City Council awards grants to aid local nonprofit organizations. Past recipients have included social service, cultural, sports, senior and youth organizations.

More information regarding the grant program, including the application form, is available at lagunabeachcity.net. Click on “City Hall” and then “Community Services.”

Applications must be returned to the Community Services Department by mail or in person by 5 p.m. Feb. 27. The department’s address is 515 Forest Ave.
