Speeding stop ends in drug arrest

A 35-year-old San Diego man was arrested on suspicion of possessing concentrated cannabis after he was stopped for speeding on Ocean Avenue at 9:43 p.m. Sunday, said Sgt. Louise Callus.

Craig Daniel Wright was held on $20,000 bail, according to police records.

Man accused of selling Vicodin to detectives

A Fullerton man was arrested by Laguna Beach narcotics detectives who allegedly purchased 500 Vicodin tablets from the suspect at 11:03 a.m. Tuesday at Boat Canyon and North Coast Highway, Callus said.

Mojtaba Mohebi, 53, was held on $55,000 bail, according to police records.
