Suspected drunk driver hits cars, flips
A person called police Tuesday night to report a potential drunk driver that had crashed into vehicles on Coast Highway and was driving on the wrong side of Laguna Canyon Road.
While following the vehicle, the caller witnessed the car flip over in the center median of Laguna Canyon Road near Canyon Acres, Lt. Jason Kravetz said.
Kravetz said a preliminary investigation revealed that the driver possibly struck a tree, which caused the car to turn over.
There was only one female occupant, who was transported to the hospital with no serious injuries.
Amanda Christine Garza, 26, of Irvine, was cited for drunk driving and released at the hospital.

Burglary by AT&T impersonators reported
A man reported a residential burglary by men dressed as AT&T employees around noon Nov. 17.
Men appearing to be AT&T servicemen came to his home and asked to come in and “service the lines” at around 11 a.m. One of the men stayed with the victim while the other said he was fixing phones around the home, Kravetz said.
After the men left, the resident noticed no repairs had been made, Kravetz said.
He knew Verizon covered the area and called AT&T, who said they did not have service in Laguna Beach.
He believes the two men stole valuable coin and stamp albums. He said they were wearing AT&T T-shirts and badges at the time.
Kravetz said no similar crimes of this nature have been reported, and the phone company was notified of the incident.
