‘Come Together’ to help Friendship Shelter

The Friendship Shelter’s “Art of Getting Home” fundraiser is expanding as interest in the event grows.

“The response in the past few years to this event has been overwhelming,” Executive Director Dawn Price said in a statement. “We had outgrown our venue and were turning people away.”

This year’s gala event will be Nov. 4 at the Balboa Bay Club in Newport Beach. It will feature a Beatles theme, including entertainment from Beatles cover band Paperback Writer.

Tickets may be purchased at https://www.friendshipshelter.org or by calling (949) 494-6928. The event committee is also soliciting items for the live and silent auctions.
