Area 1

Marine Drive: A person reported that a male and female were trespassing on their property in the 1000 block at 6:05 a.m. Sept. 16. They said the couple entered the backyard by climbing over a gate. The subjects left before police arrived.

Myrtle Street: A Norco man was arrested on suspicion of DUI near North Coast Highway at 1:28 a.m. Sunday.

Cliff Drive: Grand theft was reported in the 400 block at 12:44 p.m. Tuesday.

Lower Cliff Drive: A person reported that a homeless woman was reportedly asleep on their patio hammock in the 200 block at 5:27 a.m. Wednesday.

McKnight Drive: A suspicious motor home was reported in the 100 block at 5:02 p.m. Wednesday. A neighbor reported that they approached the female occupant and asked where she was from. She stated she and her son were working at a home across the street, pointing at the reporting person’s home. The neighbor reported she is having no work done on her home.

Cypress Drive: Battery was reported in the 400 block at 11:48 p.m. Wednesday. A cab driver reported that a male subject sprayed him with pepper spray.

Area 3

Glenneyre Street: An Irvine man was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 400 block at 11:39 p.m. Saturday. He had one prior DUI arrest and was held on $10,000 bail.

South Coast Highway: A person reported that a subject may have fallen from a balcony in the 600 block at 12:48 a.m Sunday. They believed the subject was attempting to jump from one balcony to another. They reported that the subject was conscious and breathing.

Arroyo Chico: A person reported a naked woman walking around the 400 block at 9:03 p.m. Monday.

Arroyo Chico: A person reported that they were concerned about their neighbor, who was acting strange, in the 400 block at 10:35 a.m. Tuesday. The person reported that the neighbor had wanted to walk dogs the night prior while wearing no pants and was riding a child’s scooter around the neighborhood on the day of the report.

Area 4

Noria Street: Baby rats in a brown bag were reported in the 900 block at 8:24 a.m. Sept. 14.

Shadow Lane: Vandalism was reported near Carmelita Street at 9:45 p.m. Sept. 16. A person reported that juveniles were vandalizing a white convertible and may have urinated in or on it.

South Coast Highway: A person reported art theft in the 1500 block at 9:57 a.m. Monday. The person reported that they had paintings on consignment to a gallery that went out of business and that the owner was refusing to give the paintings back. They said there are multiple victims.

Area 5

Wesley Drive: A neighbor dispute was reported in the 21000 block at 5:40 a.m. Sept. 16. A person reported that the neighbor above them had rushed into their apartment while they were asleep through an unlocked screen door.

3rd Avenue: A person reported that a mentally ill woman was ripping up plants and breaking flower pots near South Coast Highway at 7:36 a.m. Sept. 16. When the person confronted the woman, she reportedly screamed and ran into traffic.

Catalina Avenue: A Laguna Beach woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 10:46 p.m. Sunday.

West Street: A Las Vegas man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 12:07 a.m. Wednesday.

West Street: A Las Vegas woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 12:37 a.m. Wednesday.

West Street: A Huntington Beach man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 12:47 a.m. Wednesday.

West Street: A Laguna Niguel man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 2:14 a.m. Wednesday.
