Open door leads to drug arrest

Two San Clemente men were arrested on suspicion of drug activity by Laguna Beach police detectives who had gone to a home in Dana Point to investigate a theft on Sept. 2, according to Sgt. Louise Callus.

The detectives said that, as they came to the door, which was wide open, they could see two men in the process of processing marijuana, Callus said. After a search warrant was obtained and served, both men were arrested and about 2 pounds of marijuana confiscated.
