Area 1

North Coast Highway: A man and woman wearing bathing suits were reported trespassing in the Inn at Laguna swimming pool at 3:49 a.m. July 21.

Crescent Bay: A backpack and contents valued at $150 were reported taken from a vehicle with no signs of forced entry at 2:10 p.m. July 21.

North Coast Highway: A homeless man was cited for trespassing at 3:23 p.m. July 21.

Shaw’s Cove: A junior guard was taken by ambulance to the hospital for treatment of neck and back injuries at 3:37 p.m. July 21.

High Drive: A resident told police that that someone is cashing forged checks at difference locations in Laguna Beach at 9:29 p.m. July 21.

Cedar Way: Two bicycles, valued at $900 each, were reported stolen from a carport at 8:55 a.m. July 22.

Crescent Bay: Police were called to close down an allegedly illegal photo shoot that had resumed after a lifeguard supervisor advised them to stop because they didn’t have a permit at 1:46 p.m. July 22.

North Coast Highway: Police notified the Department of Motor Vehicles that a 19-year-old Burbank woman had a small amount of alcohol in her system, as required for teenaged drivers, when she was involved in a minor vehicle collision at 11:19 p.m. July 22.

North Coast Highway: Police are investigating the discovery of a skimming device on a gas station pump used to gain information about credit cards, reported at 12:12 p.m. July 23.

Heisler Park: Police were unable to find a man who stripped near the showers, then dressed and walked away at 5:57 p.m. July 23.

Heisler Park: A woman was taken by ambulance to Western Medical Center for treatment of injuries she suffered when she fell at 11:10 a.m. Saturday.

North Coast Highway: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at 11:20 p.m. Saturday.

Beverly Street: An Emerald Bay man was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving at 12:32 a.m. Sunday.

Reef Point: A Los Alamitos man was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving at 1:18 a.m. Sunday.

Viejo Street: Items valued at $1,500 were reported taken from a parked 2004 Mercedes with no signs of forced entry at 11:59 a.m. Sunday.

Viejo Street: Money, credit cards and electronic equipment reported stolen from a ransacked vehicle at 12:27 pm. Sunday.

Beverly Street: A Corona del Mar woman was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving at 11:15 p.m. Sunday.

Chiquita Street: A woman’ s credit card was reported maxed out by unauthorized purchases in New Mexico and Oklahoma at 1:15 pm. Monday.

Cliff Drive: A Long Beach man was arrested on suspicion of possession of prescription drugs without a prescription and taken to Orange County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail at 12:53 a.m. Tuesday.

Area 2

Laguna Canyon Road: A man reported being bitten by an unidentified dog at the Bark Park at 9:49 a.m. July 21.

Laguna Canyon Road: A van hit a parked vehicle, which was pushed into another parked vehicle in the homeless sleeping shelter parking lot at 12:40 p.m. July 21.

North Coast Highway: A San Clemente man was arrested on suspicion of battering a woman and taken to Orange County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail at 2:52 p.m. July 23.

Laguna Canyon Road: A Redondo Beach woman was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving at 3:15 a.m. Sunday.

Laguna Canyon Road: A Mission Viejo man was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving at 3:46 a.m. Sunday.

Woodland Drive: Documents were reported taken from a parked vehicle at 12:16 p.m. Sunday.

Laguna Canyon Road: Reports of a possible fire were traced to an overheated table saw at 2:10 p.m. Monday.

Cozumel: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of battering a woman and false imprisonment and taken to Orange County Jail at 9:32 p.m. Monday.

Area 3

South Coast Highway: A woman reported that her credit card was used for purchases made from a telephone in a prison near Blythe at 8:37 a.m. July 21.

Forest Avenue: A junior guard lost consciousness for a couple of minutes during CPR training and was picked up by her parents at 11:02 p.m. July 21.

South Coast Highway: A man asked police to help him find his car that he had lent to a friend who was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving at 1:13 p.m. July 21.

South Coast Highway: A Bellflower man was taken to Orange County Jail in lieu of bail for four Los Angeles County warrants, which were discovered when he was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public at 9:35 p.m. July 21.

Broadway: A Laguna Beach homeless man was arrested for being drunk in public at 1:29 a.m. Saturday.

South Coast Highway: Police cited the driver of a construction truck that ripped off the driver’s side mirror on a city trolley at 3:23 p.m. July 22.

Wendt Terrace: A man called about his missing wife, but police said she didn’t want to be found at 8:33 p.m. July 22.

Forest Avenue: A Las Vegas man who fell inside one of the city buses declined medical treatment at 10:28 a.m. July 23.

Mountain View Drive: A bicyclist lost control of his bike and knocked off the driver’s side window of a parked car and then hit the rear of the car while trying to regain control at 3:34 p.m. Saturday.

South Coast Highway: A Lomita man was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving with a bail set at $10,000, reported at 1:51 a.m., Sunday.

Forest Avenue: A parole officer was informed that a Laguna Beach homeless parolee was caught drinking alcohol at 3:50 p.m. Sunday.

Beach Street: A San Juan Capistrano man was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving and driving at an unsafe speed after he allegedly hit a wall at Bank of America and was taken to Orange County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail at 4:16 p.m. Sunday.

Area 4

Skyline Drive: A notice was left for the resident on whose property a leaf blower was reported at 10:42 a.m. July 21.

Glenneyre Street: Items valued at $375 were reported stolen from an unlocked Honda parked in front of a garage on Glenneyre Street and a black permanent marker was used to scrawl something on another vehicle parked in the same driveway at 11:23 a.m. July 21.

Katella Street: Police are investigating a resident’s report of an Airport Shuttle hitting a parked vehicle and leaving the scene without notifying the car’s owner at 3:42 p.m. July 21.

Diamond Street: A Laguna Niguel man was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving at 6:06. p.m. July 21.

Catalina Street: A laptop computer valued at $500 was reported stolen from a vehicle with no signs of forced entry at 1:07 p.m. July 22.

Glenneyre Street: Police were unable to find skateboarders reported refusing to leave private property at 1:17 p.m. July 22.

Thurston Drive: Police were unable to find downhill skateboarders reported at 1:19 p.m. July 22.

Brooks Street at South Coast Highway: A Laguna Beach man who broadsided another vehicle was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 3:08 p.m. July 22.

Center Street: A Rancho Santa Margarita woman was arrested by a patrol officer who allegedly saw her vehicle total a parked pickup and leave the scene without stopping at 2:27 a.m. July 23.

Cress Street: A Laguna Beach woman was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving at 1:15 a.m. Sunday.

Brooks Street: A Covina man was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving at 2:56 a.m. Sunday.

Area 5

Victoria Drive: Four men were advised to go home after police received complaints of noisy people in the street at 2:14 a.m. July 21.

Highland Drive: A resident reported purchases made without permission on a credit card at 4:19 p.m. July 21.

Village Green Park: An 11-year-old girl was taken by ambulance to Mission Hospital Laguna Beach for treatment of injuries suffered when she fell off her skateboard in the middle of the street at 6:37 p.m. July 21.

Coast Highway: A swarm of bees were reported at the top of the ramp into Treasure Island at 2:01 p.m. July 22.

Coast Highway: A $499 cell phone was gone when the woman who left it at store returned at 8:44 p.m. July 22.

Coast Highway: Skateboarders were advised to stop riding on the railing of private property and complied at 7:23 p.m. Sunday.

Victoria Beach: A report of plankton on the ocean was confirmed, although the reporting party thought the “green goo” was more likely an illegal dump, at 5:53 p.m. Monday.

Vista del Sol: A Dana Point man was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving, unrelated to the drunk driving checkpoint held Saturday, at 1:18 a.m. Tuesday.
