AREA 1

North Coast Highway: Feda Khalil Bilal Anaim, 21, of Irvine was taken to Orange County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail after he was arrested for trying to buy drugs from undercover police officers at 12:07 p.m. July 14.

McKnight Drive: Police found broken items inside an empty home whose owner had called for assistance after talking on the phone to a woman in the house and hearing breakage at 2:48 p.m. July 14

Broadway: A Costa Mesa woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and taken to the police station to sober up at 10:53 p.m. July 15.

Cozumel: A bicycle valued at $5,500 was reported stolen from a back patio at 10:20 a.m. July 16.

Poplar Street: A turtle reported in a driveway was taken into custody at 12:28 p.m. July 16.

Irvine Cove: A badly mauled dead deer was found at rear of the cove and a resident asked for information about mountain lions in case that was the killer at 1:15 p.m. July 16.

Cypress Drive: A $600 motor scooter stolen July 12 was reported found at 8 p.m. July 16.

North Coast Highway: A wallet found with identification in a grocery store containing methamphetamines was reported at 2:48 p.m. Saturday.

Cliff Drive: A Laguna Beach man was cited on suspicion of drinking alcohol in public and told to stop at 3:55 p.m. and arrested on the same charge at 4:11 p.m. Saturday.

Linden Street: A resident asked police to investigate an e-mail from a stalker in France at 4:38 p.m. Monday.

AREA 2

Laguna Canyon Road: Two pit bulls were taken to the Laguna Beach Animal Shelter when they were caught running loose on the Frontage Road at 1:49 p.m. July 14.

South Coast Highway: A purse and contents valued at $197 were reported taken from a vehicle that had no signs of forced entry at 4 p.m. July 14.

Laguna Canyon Road: Two women got into a shoving match when one of them accused the other of meeting up with her husband at 7:31 p.m.

Laguna Canyon Road: An 18-year-old Fullerton woman was cited for unsafe speed for conditions while driving 15 to 20 mph when she rear-ended another car that was stopped in traffic at 11:29 a.m. July 15.

Laguna Canyon Road: An 18-year-old Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and furnishing marijuana to his underage companions at 10:18 p.m. July 14.

Loma Place: A man who has been cursing officers on the telephone and yelling at them in the station after being warned by the city attorney to stop called again at 9:30 a.m. July 15.

Laguna Canyon Road: A man was advised to stay off of Sawdust property after he allegedly was caught showing off pictures of girls on his camera for the second time at 4:11 p.m. July 15.

El Toro Road: A driver reported he had hit and killed a deer at 5:16 p.m. July 16.

Laguna Canyon Road: A smashed window and items valued at $1,200 taken was reported at 11:13 p.m. July 16.

Laguna Canyon Road: A Newport Beach man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication and taken to the police station to sober up at 9:58 p.m. Saturday.

Laguna Canyon Road: A smashed window, which will cost $800 to repair, and a backpack and contents valued at $1,000 stolen was reported at 8:25 a.m. Sunday.

Laguna Canyon Road: An Aliso Viejo woman seen driving erratically with a dog in her lap was arrested on suspicion of DUI and taken to the police station to sober up at 6:45 p.m. Sunday.

Laguna Canyon Road: Police responded to a medical call at the ACT V alternate sleeping site because aggravation to a previous injury occurred on city property at 12:02 p.m. Monday.

AREA 3

Beach Street/Ocean Avenue: A San Bernardino woman was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication and resisting arrest and released after she sobered up at the Laguna Beach Police Station at 6:12 p.m. July 14.

South Coast Highway: Police were unable to find a man reported as hitting a woman, who claimed the abuse was only verbal, at 7:49 a.m. July 15.

Peppertree Parking Lot: A Laguna Beach man and a woman were arrested on suspicion of drinking in public when a police officer allegedly saw them sharing a fifth of brandy at 6:15 p.m. July 15.

Broadway: A Laguna Beach man as arrested on suspicion of public intoxication and drinking in public at the bus depot at 6:46 p.m. July 15.

South Coast Highway: A window was reported smashed on a vehicle, but nothing was missing at 12:23 a.m. Saturday.

Broadway: A Laguna Hills woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI and taken to the police station to sober up at 12:51 a.m. Monday.

Tree Top Lane: A dead deer was reported at 8:11 a.m. Monday.

AREA 4

Solano Way: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of possession of LSD when officers working on a case spotted the drug in plain sight while questioning him about another case at 3:33 p.m. July 14.

Ocean Vista Drive: Items valued about $11,000 stolen from a home while the resident was away was reported at 6:03 p.m. July 4.

Victoria Drive: A resident reported finding a broken egg on his door when he returned from vacation at 8:57 a.m. July 15.

Skyline Drive: A caller reported seeing two skateboarders going down the hill and being driven back up at 3:34 p.m. July 15.

South Coast Highway at Diamond Street: A city trolley rolled forward and bumped into a parked vehicle, whose owner was left a note at 4:50 p.m. July 15.

Bluebird Canyon Lane: An irate resident called about a gardener using a leaf blower for the third week without anyone stopping him and said she would sit and watch for the police to respond at 8:47 a.m. Saturday.

South Coast Highway: Vandalism reported at Jack in the Box at 3 p.m. Monday.

AREA 5

Virginia Way: A dead skunk in a resident’s driveway was reported at 8:14 a.m. July 14.

Aliso Beach: A wallet and contents valued at $180 were reported taken from a beach bag left on the sand while the owner was swimming at 7:03 p.m. July 15.

Coast Highway: A driver was cited for driving on a suspended license and without proof of insurance after a minor traffic collision at 8 p.m. July 15.

Holly Drive: Two rings valued at $12,000 were reported stolen from a home at 8:30 a.m. July 16.

Coast Highway: A property owner told police it will cost $2,000 to repair a fence that was sawed off without permission and tossed down a cliff, which was reported at 9:29 a.m. July 16.

Lang Park: Skateboarders were reported using a ramp at the park at 11:41 p.m. July 16.

Aliso Beach: Juveniles in violation of a city curfew were picked up at Aliso Beach at 11:23 p.m. July 16.

Coast Highway: Graffiti on a wall that will cost $50 to remove was reported at 8:58 a.m. Monday

SANTA ANA

Toland Street: Laguna Beach Police closed an ongoing investigation when they arrested Tyrone Anthony Quileas, 29, of Fountain Valley on a warrant for possession for possessions of heroin and conspiracy to commit a crime, and transported him to Orange County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail at 4:46 p.m. July 14.
