Area 1

North Coast Highway: A stolen vehicle was reported in the 100 block at 11:29 a.m. June 16. A man reported that he left his car unlocked with the keys inside to go buy cigarettes. His vehicle was gone upon his return.

Cliff Drive: Vandalism by juveniles was reported in the 300 block at 8:25 p.m. June 17.

Cliff Drive: A laptop was reported stolen from a vehicle near Myrtle Street at 12:25 a.m. Sunday. The loss was estimated at $2,500.

North Coast Highway: A man was reportedly refusing to leave Starbucks in the 100 block at 10:12 a.m. Tuesday. He was allegedly smoking on the patio and yelling profanities at customers.

Cliff Drive: A person reported being punched in the face by his neighbor in the 200 block at 12:33 p.m. Tuesday. He said it was over a personal matter. He sustained an injury to his eye.

Area 2

Canyon Acres Drive: A traffic collision was reported in the 200 block at 3:30 p.m. June 15. A large Home Depot truck reportedly hit a hydrant. A Laguna Beach woman was arrested on suspicion of hit-and-run and being under the influence of a controlled substance. An illegal dumping report was also taken.

Laguna Canyon Road: A Laguna Beach man and an Irvine woman were arrested on outstanding warrants in the 2600 block at 7:30 p.m. June 15.

Area 3

Park Avenue: An injured deer was reported in the 1300 block at 7:13 a.m. June 16. His hind legs were reportedly not moving.

Cleo Street: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of a DUI near South Coast Highway at 11:14 p.m. June 16.

Broadway: A Rancho Santa Margarita man was arrested on suspicion of a DUI in the 300 block at 2:13 a.m. June 17.

Laguna Avenue: A Santa Ana man was arrested on suspicion of a DUI in the 200 block at 1:34 a.m. Saturday.

Legion Street: A person reported that a man chased him and another person, pretending he had a gun, near South Coast Highway at 9:32 p.m. Sunday.

Park Avenue: A woman reported that a man ran at her and her husband while they walked in the 600 block at 11:28 p.m. Monday. She thought he was trying to start a fight.

Area 4

South Coast Highway: A San Clemente man was arrested on suspicion of a DUI and hit-and-run in the 2200 block at 2:38 a.m. Saturday.

Sandpiper Drive: A baby deer was reportedly stuck in someone’s gate in the 700 block at 10:47 a.m. Sunday.

South Coast Highway: A woman reported that her handbag was stolen in the 1400 block at 3:09 p.m. Monday. It was during a private party, and she estimated the loss at $1,260.

Oak Street: A fight was reported in the 100 block at 3:36 p.m. Tuesday. Four to six males were arguing, one attempted to slap another and one was reportedly run over by a surfboard. The argument was over waves.

Area 5

South Coast Highway: A man at the beach was reported to have hit his head in the 3000 block at 3:20 p.m. June 14. He had gone over a wave and hit the bottom, injuring his head and neck. Medics were dispatched.

Fifth Avenue: A Dana Point woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI near South Coast Highway at 11:53 p.m. June 16.

South Coast Highway: A San Clemente man was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 30000 block at 1:21 a.m. Sunday.
