A new boutique opened in town last week, offering trendy items for an important family member — your dog.

Anything Canine, owned by Lee Ann Litterst, welcomed a pack of pets and their owners May 5 for a dog fashion show, contest and a tour of the new shop on 357 S. Coast Hwy.

Mayor Toni Iseman and Chamber Executive Rose Hancock were there to lend support.

The runway walkers donned everything from simple tees to bedazzled headgear. It was a close race but “Georgia” took home the win with her proud owner, Nanette Baker.

Besides clothing, Anything Canine offers holistic supplements, food and spa services such as bathing and grooming.
