Woman arrested after hit and run

A Laguna Beach woman was arrested for a hit-and-run and was suspected to be drunk driving.

Josephine Stuart Giroux, 75, reportedly hit a mailbox and a Jeep Liberty in the 1000 block of Noria Street at 8:67 p.m. Tuesday.

The authorities were called in after the first crash. After following her route, they the Liberty.

The woman left the scene without notifying the owners of the mailbox or the car.

Woman had bench warrant out for her arrest

A homeless woman was arrested for misdemeanor bench warrant at 9:59 a.m. at North Coast Highway near Emerald Bay.

Sheri Christine Darvin, 43, was found in the bike lane with a shopping cart.

Darvin received the misdemeanor for failing to appear in the Beverly Hills Court after a written promise was made.

Man arrested in alleged DUI

A Dana Point man was arrested after a traffic stop at Upland Street and South Coast Highway at 2:17 a.m. Saturday.

Joseph Nicholas Lebon, 25, was arrested for false identification, suspicion of a DUI, driving on a suspended license, being under the influence of narcotics and possession of paraphernalia.

His bail was set at $10,000.
