Free car seat inspections in Aliso Viejo

Parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend a free child car seat inspection March 20 in Aliso Viejo.

Conducted by Aliso Viejo Police Services and Safe Kids Orange County, the event will feature child passenger safety technicians performing inspections and training parents on how to install and adjust car seats properly, according to a news release.

“It’s a parent’s responsibility to make sure a child’s car seat is properly installed and adjusted. We’re here to show you how,” Erin Malone, Safe Kids Orange County coordinator, said in a statement.

The inspections will last one hour and are by appointment only from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic-Christian Community Church, 27231 Aliso Viejo Parkway.
