Community Foundation taps Loveland as CEO

The Laguna Beach Community Foundation has named Darrcy Loveland as its president and chief executive officer.

“Darrcy has more than 25 years of experience with corporate, nonprofit, association and government organizations,” according to Laura Tarbox, chairwoman of the Laguna Beach Community Foundation, in a news statement. “Most recently, she served as senior counsel for Kaiser Permanente. She is a licensed attorney and member of the Bar for California and the District of Columbia. We are pleased to have a leader with her extensive background and experience.”

“It is an honor for me to represent the Laguna Beach Community Foundation and to serve its donors and Laguna Beach nonprofits,” Loveland stated. “Having been blessed to live in Laguna Beach for more than 12 years I have been able to share my passion for philanthropy and volunteerism with many of the Laguna Beach nonprofits. Now I have the opportunity to devote my professional time to giving back to the community that has given me such joy. It is my goal to lead, grow and strengthen the community foundation so it will endure to support Laguna nonprofits for the long-term and ultimately, benefit our future generations.”
