Maureen Taylor
Maureen Taylor passed away November 7 at her home surrounded by family. Maureen was born in New York City and moved to California in her teens. She lived in South America after college while stationed there for the State Department. Maureen was a school teacher for many years at Ole Hanson Elementary School in San Clemente and Richard Henry Dana Elementary in Dana Point. She lived in Laguna Beach for several decades and was very involved in politics, activism, and the Laguna Beach community. She loved travel and cooking, and brought immense joy to those around her. She is survived by her husband Dennis Taylor, her daughters Catherine Ansell Sichenza and Lisa Ansell Black, her grandchildren Gavin Sichenzia, Daniel Black and Claire Black, and her brothers Chris Flanagan and Joe Flanagan.
