A Los Angeles man died late Thursday night after a red 2010 Lexus ES 350 collided with his bicycle on Pacific Coast Highway, just north of Seapoint Drive in Huntington Beach, authorities said.

Police responded to reports of the collision at around 11:20 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered the man — identified by the Orange County coroner’s office as 52-year-old Kelly Carrington — dead in the roadway. The driver of the Lexus, a 79-year-old man, and his wife sustained minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital.

Both cooperated with police and authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol were involved with the collision.
