Orange County broke another record Thursday, surpassing 200,000 cases of COVID-19 countywide.

The Orange County Health Care Agency reported an additional 3,454 cases on Saturday. Regionwide, there are 209,365 COVID-19 cases since the county agency began tracking data in March.

Data also show 43 more deaths, just a little over half of the 82 reported on Friday. County officials explained in a memo that the high number of deaths reported on Friday was due to delays in data transmission.
