To Our Readers: TimesOC plans to return May 3
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, TimesOC is going on hiatus in April.
The supplement, which is delivered Sundays to every Los Angeles Times subscriber in Orange County, largely focuses on arts, entertainment, food and culture. The theaters, museums, galleries, restaurants and businesses we cover are temporarily closed because of the virus, so we made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend publication.
In addition, The Times is adjusting the work schedules at its printing and distribution facilities to limit potential exposure to the coronavirus and help prevent its spread. The newspaper is combining sections on certain days of the week to help with that goal.
TimesOC’s two editorial employees will be temporarily assigned to the Daily Pilot, a Times-owned community newspaper that serves coastal Orange County. TimesOC advertisers will be offered space in The Times and in the Pilot.
Though it’s impossible to predict the course of the pandemic, we plan to begin publishing TimesOC again on May 3.
We appreciate our readers’ patience and loyalty during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
The staff of TimesOC
