Tomatomaniacs welcome at Roger’s Gardens plant sale
The eighth annual Tomatomania is bringing fruity fun to Roger’s Gardens through March 8.
“The world’s largest (and most fun) tomato plant sale,” as the Corona del Mar home and garden emporium calls it, kicked off Friday and features more than 200 varieties of heirloom and hybrid tomato plants, plus a large selection of peppers and a slate of seminars from tomato experts who can give pointers for a bountiful harvest.
Roger’s Gardens is at 2301 San Joaquin Hills Road. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
