Poker sharks can get in on the action for a good cause at a November Texas Hold ‘em fundraising event.

The Orange Coast College baseball team is hosting the fifth annual Pat & Phyllis Texas Hold’em Memorial Fundraising Tournament on Nov. 12 to raise money to spruce up the Wendell Pickens Baseball Field.

The funds raised will go toward a new entrance, including a snack bar and restrooms.

The event includes a buffet dinner before participants play Texas Hold ‘em, blackjack and Bunco. There will also be a cash bar and giveaways.
