Pet of the Week

When Glady arrived at the shelter in August as a stray, she was frankly a mess.

This poor girl with a cropped tail was covered in fleas, causing severe dermatitis. She also suffered from dental issues and a limp. Now, several weeks later, after antibiotic treatment as well as oral, spay and patellar surgery, Glady has been transformed into a happy, healthy dog.

Her tricolor coat is recovering nicely, which means petting is again pleasurable. This 7-year-old beagle and Chihuahua mix expresses her gratitude for having been helped by wagging her tail and behaving impeccably.

Glady appears house-trained, enjoys getting out for walks and shows affection without clinginess. She weighs no more than 13 pounds.
