Pet of the Week
Although she weighs about 50 pounds, Little is on the small size for her breed mix of mostly American pit bull terrier.
Her behavior also suggests she thinks she is little, according to the former owner who surrendered this pet in July because of a landlord’s restrictions. In fact, she apparently likes to cuddle and even sleep in bed with someone.
Also described as affectionate and timid, Little loves children and has learned basic commands. She can be intimidated by other animals and keeps her distance, preferring the company of people instead.
At 2 years old, she is healthy, house-trained and spayed. Shelter volunteers find her easy to walk and eager for attention. Her big smile and grateful gaze are clear signals she enjoys both the exercise and the companionship.
Little’s adoption fees are discounted 50 percentall week, with mention of this announcement. For more information, call (714) 536-8480 or visit ochumanesociety.com.
