Pet of the Week
Found as a stray, Roscoe is a recent arrival at the shelter who has since distinguished himself as quiet, loving and well-behaved.
This schnauzer and poodle mix is thought to be about 5 years old and weighs a slight 10 pounds. He is healthy, appears house-trained and will be neutered upon adoption. Roscoe enjoys being petted and held but also takes pleasure in walks.
He does not jump or pull on the leash, preferring to trot obediently by a volunteer’s side. Along with many of his kennel mates, Roscoe has probably endured considerable stress in recent weeks from fireworks, thunderstorms and stifling heat. Consequently, now is an ideal time to bring a new pet into a household and provide the sort of care and comfort each will welcome.
Roscoe’s fees are discounted 25% all week with mention of this announcement.
