Pet of the Week
Given the circumstances that brought Boe to the shelter, it is remarkable that he remains such a lovable and upbeat dog.
Last August, the 3-year-old pit bull mix was surrendered by his owner amid an abusive household environment. However, Boe exhibits no residual signs of trauma, readily showing affection to men and women.
This playful boy enjoys being petted and rolling in the grass for belly rubs. Although energetic and active at 75 pounds, he walks obediently on leash, is house-trained and knows basic commands. This week he served as a good-will ambassador for his breed at the City Council meeting.
Boe is healthy and neutered. He would do best in a home of adults or one with older children and no other pets. Come meet this forgiving dog whose adoption fees are already discounted 50%. Take off an additional 25% all week if you mention this announcement. For more information, call (714) 536-8480 or visit https://www.ochumanesociety.com.
