Pet of the Week

Eric is a dapper little guy who arrived last month as a stray. Initially very timid and cautious, he has slowly come out of his shell. Now, he looks forward to walks and cuddles, although he may never be a “let’s go for a run on the beach” sort of dog.

However, for someone seeking an affectionate, quiet and well-behaved companion, Eric could be the one. He is about 3 1/2 years old and weighs less than 10 pounds. Healthy and apparently house-trained, he will be neutered upon adoption.

One of eight Chihuahua mixes currently residing in the shelter, each possessing a unique personality, Eric distinguishes himself as the perfect country gentleman in his rustic shearling coat. He cordially welcomes each visitor’s attention.
