Pet of the Week

At 1 1/2 years, Bruno was surrendered when his family moved and pets were prohibited.

While said to be part mastiff, this 60-pounder weighs one-third of that breed’s typical male, suggesting shepherd or another smaller breed is in the mix. However, Bruno does possess the temperament of a mastiff, often known as a gentle giant.

Despite his tough-sounding name, this dog is quite gentle and loves being around people of all ages. He is curious about other animals, but not aggressive. Bruno is healthy, neutered, house-trained and easy to walk for a big dog. Playful and affectionate, he also knows basic commands.

Bruno is an amiable ambassador for shelter dogs, and his adoption fees are discounted 25% all week when this announcement is mentioned. For more information, call (714) 536-8480 or visit https://www.ochumanesociety.com. Donations of chain collars to walk large dogs like Bruno are especially needed at this time.
