Lobo, a German shepherd mix, recently arrived at the shelter as a stray. Although his name means “wolf” in Spanish, his behavior suggests otherwise. In fact, “a sheep in wolf’s clothing” is an apt reversal of the old expression.

This mild-mannered boy is about 6 years old and weighs 70 pounds. Lobo is easy to handle on leash and appears house-trained. He enjoys affection from people and wants to meet other dogs too. Perhaps neglected by his previous owner, Lobo sometimes seems to be pleading for companionship, by either soft whimpering or a longing look in his soulful eyes.

Lobo is currently being treated for minor ear and skin ailments, but he is generally healthy and will be neutered before adoption. Come meet gentle Lobo, whose adoption fees are discounted 25% when this announcement is mentioned. For more information, call (714) 536-8480 or visit https://www.ochumanesociety.com.
