Well, at the risk of making an atrocious pun...it’s apparently made an impression.

Since 2010, the Irvine Museum’s exhibit “California Impressionism: Selections from The Irvine Museum,” has toured the country and made stops in California, Washington, Oregon and Florida. Saturday, the exhibit will make its homecoming at the museum at 18881 Von Karman Ave. and remain on display through Jan. 9.

Among the artists featured in the show are Franz A. Bischoff, Paul Lauritz, Alfred R. Mitchell, Guy Rose, George Gardner Symons and William Wendt.

Museum hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Admission is $5 general and free for children, students and seniors aged 60 and older, as well as for everyone the second Wednesday of every month.
