Pet of The Week

You may recall reading a few weeks ago that Cookie came to the shelter with her “brother” Buddy (subsequently adopted), after their owner died. Now Cookie is ready to find her new home too.

She is as sweet as her name, in spite of some hard times. Cookie is a 4-year-old Shih Tzu mix. She’s a “special needs” pet looking to steal your heart. Cookie is spayed, house-trained, and friendly with everyone — dogs and people alike.

Her silken tail wags when she greets you and rarely stops! Cookie delights in taking walks, rolling over for belly rubs, or just being cuddled. If you are interested in caring for this little charmer, please call or visit.
