25th Anniversary

South Coast Plaza opens an exhibit highlighting the 25th anniversary of the Segerstrom Center for the Arts. The exhibit, consisting of 18 color panels, will be held in Jewel Court at the shopping center, 3333 Bristol St., Costa Mesa.

‘A Year of Dreaming

Dangerously’

Orange Coast College is hosting “Alex’s Adventures in the Five Rivers” or “A Year of Dreaming Dangerously,” a new exhibit of work by Arthur Taussig, a former OCC film and photography professor. The exhibit is on the second floor of the Art Center, 2701 Fairview Road, Costa Mesa. The works are inspired by Dante’s “Divine Comedy.” The exhibit has various operating hours and admission is free. Pro-Am Benefit Tourney

The second annual Queen of Hearts Exhibition Pro-Am is from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Newport Beach Tennis Club, 2601 Eastbluff, Newport Beach. Professional players, including Rick Leach and others, will be paired with amateurs in a tennis tournament to benefit research into ovarian cancer. Admission is free and the event also features a “Swing for a Cure” clinic led by tennis pro Vic Braden.

Open House

Project Playhouse — the annual fundraiser for HomeAid OC, a nonprofit reaching out to homeless families — marks its 20th anniversary by unveiling its newest collection of playhouses. The event is from noon to 6 p.m., in the Edwards Court at the Irvine Spectrum Center.

Mix + Mingle

The Ensign Fund, made up of parents of students at Ensign Intermediate School, hold the second annual Mix + Mingle fundraiser for the school. The event is from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 215 E. 15th St., Newport Beach (Balboa Peninsula).
