Lemondrop Dance Club
Newport Beach-based Lemon Drop Club, which hosts singles parties in Orange County geared for adults around the age of 40 and older, will have its Halloween Dance from 7 to midnight at the O.C. Airport Hilton, 18800 MacArthur Blvd., Newport Beach. A free Italian buffet will be served from 8 to 9:30 p.m. and a free dance lesson will be offered from 7 to 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 and parking is free. The Vertikals will perform live on stage. Charity Car Wash
The 1st Battalion, 5th Marines will hold a fundraiser car wash from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the parking lot of Costa Mesa City Hall, 77 Fair Drive. Suggested donation is $20 and goes to support the 1/5 Marines and their families.
Monster Mash
The Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort’s Back Bay Bistro is hosting its inaugural Monster Mash, a party featuring music, dancing and a costume contest from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. at 1131 Back Bay Drive. Orange Coast College Dance Concert
Orange Coast College Dance Department faculty members will premiere five new works at the 35th Annual Faculty Dance Concert at 8 p.m. in the Robert B. Moore Theatre, 2701 Fairview Road, Costa Mesa. Halloween Costume Dance Party

The O.C. Fair and Event Center in Costa Mesa hosts the Woodworking and D.I.Y.
