A homeless veteran’s German Shepherd named Bluto is suffering from hip dysplasia and Community Animal Network would like to help.

Since December, Community Animal Network has been providing the medications Rimadyl and Dasuquin for Bluto at a cost of $132 a month provided by donations.

We will continue helping Bluto if enough donations can be raised to manage the progression of his condition with continued non-surgical treatments. We would like to add acupuncture to Bluto’s therapy which will reduce the amount of pain Bluto experiences and give him added mobility. It will take eight to 15 sessions for him to feel some relief at a cost of $700 to $1,200.
